will 16
Has anyone used the minwax dark walnut or balsin dark on Thayer gun stocks . I've been wanting to do my hw 100 kt ,I'm looking to make it a bit darker with good weather protection and what clear coat would be good as I don't want a gloss finish. Thanks will? bigmac 97kt 13,820
You will need a mat Finnish oil i use tung oil but it comes down to how much oil you put on with this oil whether you get a gloss or mat finish but dose lose its shine when left for a day or two and darkens the stock to atvbmac  PS,,,,this is the finish you will get with the tung oil Quote Link to post
