bird 9,970
Leave it on mate might heal correctly . if you have it off the will notice the difference . I had an old bitch that had tao broke toes on back foot and run fines for years . if I had then off I can guarentee she wouldn't of run right . just rest the bitch till you feel its headed enough atb yep, my young dog Buck bust his outside back toe, i rested him for 6 weeks, then bit of bike work, and he ok with it, it doesn't stop him catching quarry. i suppose if it had kept playing him up and hurting him , i would have had it off, but it as not so leave it alone . if i was you i see how it goes after rest, then try the dog on few runs and take it from there . 1 Quote Link to post

roybo 2,873
You can have them pinned Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
You can have them pinned. I left my bitches to heal as said and it is still only attached by the tendon. If it's dislocated it won't just get better ,it needs putting back in place and pinning. Or taking off as it becomes a pain in the arse and they knock it up every time they run..then arthritis sets in. 1 Quote Link to post
