luke524896 0 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Share Posted December 5, 2007 Tonight i went out with my £16 homebase lamp and my 8 year old lurcher and caught my first habbit but now i dont know what to do with it lol i think i should give it to the dog but i dont know how to prepare it i would have caught two but then my crappy lamp died out anyone know what i should do with the rabbit if i am to give it to the dog? ad22 1 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Share Posted December 5, 2007 Might be a bit wormy some rabbits can be, check for worms when you gut it, if there are worms then cook it and pull the meat from the bone before giving it him. Dont feed cooked bones. Raw bones are ok. Quote Link to post

I've been skinning mine too since someone on here mentioned that the skin can block the dog's gut.
