ghostlyease 17
I have used this, would use a slight dusting on pups food, bitches that are feeding pups and if a dogs condition is a bit lacking, mind you saying that I did not use it for the pups that have just left but I fed raw as well as their usual kibble. I thought I had a pot here to see what was in it but I dont, sorry.
lawrence 657
i've used it and sa 37 in the past frank, i think the sa37 is better stuff, though to be honest, i feed a barf diet nowdays so i don't feel there's any need for either.let it eat them rabbits frank and it will not want for much mate. i have also used bonemeal , i think its nearly all calcium and far cheaper than the two above . good luck with the pup,its a cracker. juckler123 707
Stress is good but ive found it better to give em calcium tablets with vit D but only if you think there not getting a good enough supply from their food too much is as bad as to little i have always supplimented pups up to ten months and you can see the difference in the end better bone and size and i aint never had much happen in the way of breaks even with some horrific collisions ive often thought calcium has helped
Guest Frank
Thanks folks. I think, my deit is fine for my pup it seems, Chicken, rabbit, hare, venison, goats milk and sometimes, red mills tracker. I just want to give her the best, as Juckler says, they seem to get good strong bones from it. But too much is not good, so ill stick to what i am doing. Lawrence, thanks very much for your kind comment on the pup.
Simoman 110
I used to use it with pups but since changing to raw foods haven't bothered.........
gaz 284
Ive used it in the past with pups aswell but if there getting enough bone in their diet i dont bother with it now, as already been said too much of good thing can have a reverse effect on a pups system,i also now use sa 37 as its been recomended to me for being a good suplement for a pup
