At nearly 16 week old he's just under 13kg and 18"tts. Pretty gangly although not that racey yet.

 

anyone else with a similar cross?

Smart looking pup,I wouldn't worry about its weight or size yet,get good quality food ,clean fresh water and this time next year you can concentrate on exercise to get it fit ,stamina etc seen pics of few saluki bull greys that were quite solid looking in a muscley way.

Thanks. Changed diet to BARF last week and his coat has gone so silky. Hoping he makes 24tts

He isn't that leggy for a lurcher with mostly Saluki and greyhound in the make up. Any got puppy photos around 16 weeks?

That's because their legs grow in spurts ,sometimes they look like their back legs are too long for their body ,then they look like they are all legs.

There's also different builds in Saluki cross lurchers from racy that look like they'd snap ,to big strong ones that look like the build of a bull x

That's because their legs grow in spurts ,sometimes they look like their back legs are too long for their body ,then they look like they are all legs.

my first one was sal grey whip ,an did exactly that an one time just it's tail grew so it was dragging the ground till it had another spurt,

Like has been stated already most puppies have same shape to start with so I wouldn't call it stocky. But baring in mind a lot of the coursing bred types are rather stocky nowadays

shes two year old now,she about 1/8 bull ,the rest sal/grey....24 inches
