gnasher16 30,146
just seen a clip of hatton in training....must admit although he looks sharp i hope he hasnt overtrained....noticed the big cold sore and patches of yellow marks on his face...its normal to have skin problems when in vigorous training....cold sores are normally a sign of fatigue/tiredness or emotional upset.......think the weigh in will be a good indicator. alimac 882
i think hatton is expecting a war, while f..kweather is expecting to go in there and wipe the floor, me thinks hes in for a shock, mayweather that is.. hope he gets fecked all over, even though hatton is a manc COME ON RICKY good excuse to get out lamping to kill some time before the fight
diggory 130
think ricky might look outclassed for the first 5/6 rounds but will catch mayweather with body shots to force a late stoppage also cant wait to see the look on floyds face when rickys going like a trian in the later rounds late stoppage ricky come on son were all behind you

gibby 0
Mayweather is a great boxer, watched a couple of his recent fights. BUT, he is no match for Hatton. Like someone else has said Hatton expects a battle and mayweather is gunna get a shock. Hatton to win

david2363 42
Just saw the press conference in Vegas, Mayweather just rabbiting on and on, telling everyone how good he is, and how shit Ricky is. Then it struck me, the guy seems ultra confident but I reckon he is actually nervous. If Ricky can weather the first 4 rounds, I say he can stop this prick with constant pressure and body shots before round 10.
irish007 0
mayweather is going to cut hattons face up,hatton will lose on cuts. he has 2 much skill 4 hatton, but i hope im wrong
bill88 6
Nothing to do today because of the weather,so i went back through my boxing collection and watched some tapes of Ricky, and Mayweather. As i said Mayweather is favourite, and rightly so,but Ricky could beat him.Mayweather needs room to do his stuff, yes he counters well, and has great movement, but when fighting De La Hoya, and in the first Castillo fight,he was struggling for ideas. The records will show that Mayweather won both these fights, but the judging was iffy,to say the least.Emanuel Steward had Mayweather losing both these fights, and he's forgotten more about boxing than most of us will ever know. When under fire,Mayweather runs, and counters with single shots, will this be enough to discourage Hatton? Mayweather can bang, but he is no Tsyzu.Tsyzu was a devastating puncher, and i don't believe for a second that Mayweather could take Ricky out with a single shot.Mayweather is the bigger man,is he? i think not,he may have campaigned at welter and above, but he is a blown up light welter. As for the ease with which he beat another brawler (Gatti) its no barometer for predicting the outcome against Hatton,Gatti was shot when he fought Mayweather, and as much as i liked watching Gatti, even in his prime he was never in the same league as Hatton, let alone Mayweather.Mayweather also beat the bigger man (De La Hoya) but De La Hoya, was long past his best,he was unmotivated, and unfit, had he fought De La Hoya in his prime he would have been beaten. The Mayweather camp, and the American press may have written off Hatton, but a lot of respected fighters and boxing writers think Ricky can win this fight.
