BlackDog1 134
After 3 seasons of heavy use on my current boots (lowa) I'm on the lookout for a new pair. I'm thinking about getting a different make, although the lowas are a good boot they are a heavy boot as well. I'm looking for something maybe a bit lighter and more comfortable. What I've been looking at are Zamberlan and Dedito. Does any of you guys have experience with any of the two? And if so, what's your views on them? Quote Link to post

BlackDog1 134
They have done well if I'm honest, they have been well looked after also. I've also been looking at the haix boots but I've heard mixed reviews from a few different people Quote Link to post

dillydog 8,469
I've used Hanwag Alaska for years, no complaints, the leathers by far the best on any boots I've owned 1 Quote Link to post

BlackDog1 134
Thanks for the replies people. @five feet down, really good bit of information, cheers for that. I must say that I've never heard of the hanwags before, I'll definitely be looking into them. Cheers Quote Link to post
BlackDog1 134
Just had a look on the hanwags website and the brennans look like a very good boot but they only do them in a wide fit and I've got narrow feet. The tetra top looks a good boot also, so I think I'll look into getting a pair of them. Quote Link to post
BlackDog1 134
Just realise what you said about the tatra tops, maybe I won't go for them ha. Quote Link to post
BlackDog1 134
Ahh right, maybe I'll try the brenners then. I get what you mean about the lowas, totally agree with what your saying. Quote Link to post
trenchfoot 4,243
both me and the wife wear Haix Tibet boots on the farm. They are narrow fitting and a little solid in the footbed, but very comfy. I have had one pair nearly 3 years now and they have stood up to everything. Mud, sh#t, grafting, never leaked and very strongly built. I even got the lace hooks caught in a length of sheep netting being rolled out/dragged by a tractor on a fencing job. Dragged my 17 stones 70 yards across the field and never made any impression on them. It didnt even bend the hook. Well worth the money 1 Quote Link to post
rob284 1,682
If you want a boot that lasts, you won't beat fell boots. 2 Quote Link to post
Dead Eyes 681
Why don't you lads use a good pair of timberlands? Quote Link to post
dillydog 8,469
I wouldn't have a pair of fell boots given me, total shite, things have moved forward mate Quote Link to post
