Greyman 28,627 Posted July 24, 2016 Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 Out last nite for a few hour And have noticed , when pulling the trigger , the gun has got louder than normal Like a twang really , any ideas please Atb Still shooting spot on tho all the same you will get loads of better advice from more knowledgable types than me, but I would advise you run it over a chrony, and check its power first, A it costs little or nothing to do this, B it's most important to keep it within the legal limits, my AA started sounding a bit twangy going back a while, when I checked it on the chrony, some how it was putting out 17ftlb, after a little fettle and a bit of a service, back to 11.5 and quiet again, cost a couple of O rings and a couple of hours work, goodluck Quote Link to post

si brown 8,486 Posted July 26, 2016 Report Share Posted July 26, 2016 They use to put loads of grease in the hammer Spring area if you've been out in the really hot weather or had it in the car.. It Might of melted !! Resulting in spring noise not heard before and it ups the power too with less resistance! Atb si Quote Link to post
