Its difficult , (more so with Heelers than Kelpies)..but possibly the best way to obtain stock from these purpose bred Herders, would be to seek out some genuine working types,..and go from there

Mine was bred out west Cumbria, but I bought it,from its first owner, so do not know the breeder, I have been talking tonight about finding a bitch to put him over, if I ever find the breeder I will let you know,

She's got to be one of the most stunning and versatile bitches on here Jigsaw.

 

If you do a search, there was a good, and very long, thread about heelers and kelpies and their lurcher offspring on here a couple of years ago.

 

P.S. (for Jigsaw) I've finally finished my full time stint so I'll get that information I promised to you over the next couple of weeks.

Neal if you do itd be great,im going to postpone getting another for the time being though,something has come up and I wont be ina position to take a pup for a few months but i do intend to get one at a later date..Ive intentions of getting Taz out a lot more this winter on the lamp etc,shes been under used the last season,got to get back to basics and out a lot more
