RossM 8,147
Anyone any idea about these? Found this cleaned it our but can't find anything online. Don't know what it's made from or who it's meant to be but it's 2 inches tall and 130 gram only markings on it are inside and says made in England and 101. Any help would be appreciated

Blackbriar 8,569
I'd disagree with Daniel (sorry Dan). Silver has hallmarks, similar to those found on gold items that identify the year, city, maker etc. This system began in the early 18th century, so only extremely old items have no marks. As yours clearly states "Made in England", it would have marks if it was silver. Foreign silver is often marked 925 as this is the standard for Sterling Silver (92.5% purity)...... I suspect 101 could be an edition number. It may be a limited edition piece.
