I saw an advert the other day, managing and running a legal grow facility in the states, nothing bit, quite small actually at 30 lights, pay was quite good though $75K plus bonuses

The times they are a changin...

The rumour is that my state is considering whether to add medicinal use to the 2018 election ballot. I'd like to think it's common sense but I reckon it's more to do with public relations seeing as Donnie pissed off just about everyone!

The states are ON it,the first time I ever met this guy he was hiding behind a rasta wig and dark glasses.........Now he is mainstream, times are indeed changing

love to do that here

Taking this in a slightly different direction, what does the panel think about the levels of illegal drugs inside the prison system? :hmm:

I was reading this article of an inmate being filmed eating a shit sandwich to get his hands on Spice. Considering it's illegal, and filmed on an illegal device, inside a penal institution can we look at the war on drugs a little more realistically?

"Spice" (actually any random synthetic cannabinoid sprayed on herbs) is fecking terrible shit and a direct result of prohibition, if weed wasn't illegal no one would have ever f****d about with synthetic cannabinoids and if the original, relatively harmless, JWH series of synthetic cannabinoids hadn't been banned we never would have seen these newer generations that have got progressively stronger with more worrying side effects.

Scary looking stuff, I'd never really heard of it until recent, when someone uses the phrase legal high I just thought it was the daft stuff being sold years ago that did absolutely nothing. They should just legalise it and be done with it, if they're starting to legalise it in the US then surely it's not far off?

The big problem with all these new "research chemicals" is we have no fecking idea what the long term risks are. With all the traditional drugs there's been loads of research done and their risk profiles are quite well known but God knows what sort of health problems folk could be running into a few years down the line after using these new drugs.

Most likely, like you say it's a direct result of prohibition, I doubt if it was legalised everyone would suddenly become a stoner, I think in Holland it's not considered to be particularly cool with younger people (the ones I know) probably because it isn't illicit.

I watched a documentary about the US war on drugs, the money spent was tens of billions (maybe up to 100 billion) and it doesn't seem to achieve anything. Maybe it would be better spent on rehab and education. You might have seen it it featured Rick Ross.
