dave88 1,565
Realistically does anyone think it will actually be legal over here in any form? Growing for personal use etc?
ChrisJones 7,975
What about the folk smoking it who end up with mental health issues and end up having no quality of life because of it. I'm sure their poor family and friends would have something to say on the issue. No doubt the smokers on here will deny it happens though and it o ly brings joy to the world and cures disease Do you think that the NHS could do with some extra money for those suffering from mental health issues, as a result? I know a great way to raise the revenue!

Not for a couple of generations. They'll see what happens in the States first. The US is far from unanimous on the matter but now California, and Nevada, have gone fully legal it won't be too long before it goes federal. As with most things the conservative states will hold out the longest but Cali usually sets the precedence for the nation.
neil r 1,844
try popping into your local grow shop and ask them a few questions, No reputable british grow shop will answer questions on anything relating to illegal use of their equipment, thats a fact and not just because its on a THL thread,Hydro shop owners don't want to go to nick, wouldnt be the first time one has been prosecuted and imprisoned for giving grow advice to someone who just wanders into a shop and asks about growing illegal plants,i used to supply hydro shops with equipment I imported,i still have my finger on the pulse, still got friends in the equipment industry, reputable ones wont risk their liberty or livelihood discussing illegalities If I remember right there was a grow shop owner from Blackpool that got sent down a while back for talking about growing "tomatoes " with a customer. A mate of mine has a grow shop and has had to put a sign up saying he won't talk about growing or get cuttings because he was getting asked all the time .

I was surprised to see them in Spain when I visited recently.

ChrisJones 7,975
There's a great way to eliminate the problem that's free. Don't smoke it in the first place That would be fantastic wouldn't it but according to the Home Office, in 2015/16 annual study showed that 2.1m adults, aged 16-59, has used marijuana that year. That's 6.5% of the population! Shall we tell them not to do it any more? Maybe shout it a little louder? Edited April 25, 2017 by ChrisJones
