Used to run a killer pheno of lemon diesel years ago, had the perfect balance of lemon and fuel stink, real greasy buds too.

probably a stupid question as I have no idea but how do you know what your smoking unless you orsomeone close has grown it? Ie like strain etc. I thought grass was grass

Years of experience ;)

Some strains are easier to tell apart than others but if you don't actually know the source you can never be certain of what you're smoking but you can have a good guess based on taste&smell, appearance and effect.

I got two electric trimming machines in the shed-waste of time-few lads in the room on 10 pound per hr lol-flapping everytime the door goes ;)belladonna was a good strain-came across it by accident while ordering seeds and rounding up to a nice round figure-think it cost me 25 notes for a packet of 5 seeds-I payed close to 500 notes for g13 fom doggies nuttz -every strain I had from them was outstanding yeild wise and very consistent. Not for the hobby growers lol.atb dc

I always wondered if the doggie nutz stuff was over rated and over priced I've never been one to fall for hype but now I know cheers

Alot of serious chat on here are the days of just getting a quarter of grass from whoever has it gone ?

Average smokers still just pick up bags of whatevers on offer from street dealers I'm sure but this thread is full "cannaseurs", not really representative of the majority of smokers.

Things definitely are moving in that direction for everyone though as legislation is becoming more of a reality. Have a look at how the culture has changed in the legal states in America.

even the dealer in the street likes to know what he has for sure now. Lad I used to buy from was a heavy smoker himself so you always knew what he had.

Would go round on a weekday just for a t and he'd have 5/6 different smokes and some times more and could sample every one before you bought. Really good lad and would even mix it up aswell, can remember being skint and saying I wanted a g but couldn't pick between the bubblegum and cheese so he did a half of each and chucked me a jakey for the road

grown widow at 40 pound per packet and widow that cost say 160 per packet- massive difference. Pay cheap you be buying twice in my own experience. Don't get me wrong I stumbled on some real beauty's that didn't cost an arm and leg but that was a long time ago-wouldn't waste the time or effort these days growing the fem shite that's about, if im honest.the best gear Joe blogs off the street will never sample-I don't rate most the stuff even in Holland these days-garbage most of it.used to hit the pollens like buffallo or cream and leave the green alone when over there.atb dc

Been looking at outside and wondering if there's any tips from you guys? Got a spot earmarked just need to watch it for disturbance til after christmas

Don't plant seeds straight into the ground the young shoots are very likely to get munched by slugs and alike start them of in a greenhouse or whatever till there woody then transplant them to your spot you can put a 5 inch ring of braided copper wire around each one it will help keep the slugs and snails of but I have found once they have gone woody there not so appealing to the critters..your spot needs to get full Sun all day for best results and choose a strain that can cope with the outdoors and don't plant anything until the frosts are gone for the year. You will be looking at a October harvest

I've seen seeds on Sunday markets like Thoresby market but I couldnt tell you how good or reliable they would be. Like BGD says there only illegal once there germinated Edited by kanny
