South hams hunter 8,924
Been looking at outside and wondering if there's any tips from you guys? Got a spot earmarked just need to watch it for disturbance til after christmasDon't plant seeds straight into the ground the young shoots are very likely to get munched by slugs and alike start them of in a greenhouse or whatever till there woody then transplant them to your spot you can put a 5 inch ring of braided copper wire around each one it will help keep the slugs and snails of but I have found once they have gone woody there not so appealing to the critters..your spot needs to get full Sun all day for best results and choose a strain that can cope with the outdoors and don't plant anything until the frosts are gone for the year. You will be looking at a October harvest ideal, gonna save it for next year as I need to keep a good eye on my potential spot. Going to sound odd as it's a fenced off bit off waste land with a gate on that's open. Going to lock the gate and see what happens

trapperman 474
I've spent about £50 on outdoor autos and some photos with my mate to grow at the smallholding this year and already got about 4-5oz of bud with 2x auto white widow just 2 weeks old and 3 photos still to come, my mate did some in his green house and has suffered with bud rot but I've had no rot out doors with the breeze to dry it It's good fun with no set up cost and for me is just the perfect way as I'm busy and don't want to have to mess about worrying about every mil of water or fertiliser etc
