Bad news on the American side, the DEA have refused to reclassify marijuana despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary.

The good news is that the elections are up in November.

Five states will vote on total legalisation for the recreational use of weed. They are Arizona, California, Maine, Massachusetts and Nevada. Seven states will vote for the legalisation of medicinal use. They are Arkansas, Florida, Montana and North Dakota. Michigan, Missouri and Oklahoma.

The big one is Cali. If they pass it there it'll probably roll out across most of the states shortly after. The religious places will hang on as long as they can, but like it was with gay marriage it'll be in vain.

If it goes legal across the US I'm sure the UK will follow soon enough. You'll be needing something to take the edge of Brexit! :thumbs:

The first fems i ever saw were dutch passion blueberry back in the dawn of time,that was a long long time ago,cant even remember the fem method back then,gibberelic acid i think,even that threw out lots of herm blueberry,nowadays any man and his dog can fem seeds easily with STS normally being the most reliable,i even know a commercial farmer in morroco who has a fem grow as the market for solid isnt what it used to be,sure his crops are lightly seeded with the amount of pollen flying around over there but its not as bad as you would think.Theres a strain some guy was chatting about to a mate of mine,its £25 a gram in london at the mo,its one of the overrated "elite" strains that you see sold as clones on the Cali "Craigslist"'

Yea fair point chris,but i would argue even if the drinkers aren't nutters with a drink in them harming other people. I can say they are doing more damage to themselfs by drinking than if they were taking weed.

its been argued for decades now and made illegal by people with an agenda and it had nothing to do with public safety or concern!

Depends on the levels of drinking. Moderate drinking is proven to benefit health. Even heavy drinkers are better off than non-drinkers. I guess if you're harming yourself then that's entirely up to the individual. They've paid enough tax into the system, through alcohol duty, and are entitled to the care they've rightfully paid for. Personally I wouldn't smoke even if it were legal, it's just not for me. But I do like a drink! ;)

The current legal status is purely a political agenda for old fart MP's who tie in cannabis with hippy degenerates. Attitudes will shift as these people retire, and are replaced with people more open minded.

As far as the benefits of legalisation go, recreation aside, hemp products like paper and fabric. The fact it's renewable in months, whereas trees take decades. The proven ability for hemp to remove, and recycle, massive amounts of toxins from the localised atmosphere, improving air quality.

The list goes on. The facts are there. The only resistance is the old guard who's mentality is stuck in the bronze age. The benefits are incredible, the only downside I'm aware of is the current violence tied in with the illicit drug trade. Remove that and you put all of these people out of business. It's really, win win!

Case closed! :laugh::thumbs:

Correct on all points,prohibition drives the trade,money begets the violence,its strange really but the dictionary defenition of Drug is a substance that causes addiction,habituation or marked change in consciousness,a Druggie defenition is one who habitually uses drugs,i wonder how many plod,judges,politicians understand the word irony when they have a stiff whiskey after work?I can reel off a hundred uses for hemp all for the good,yet can think of a tiny handfull for alcohol and none whatsoever for tobbaco.
