Out this morning

Was out this morning with the dogs and passed a bloke and his missus. As i was passing them she said to me "poor thing do you feed that dog" I was lost for words. Ignored her and kept on going.

rescued a lurcher x from the dogs home fur was missing and it was really skinny the amount of dirty looks and rude comments i got were unbelievable

From the pic your dogs look very fit and well: I've had it before, and what I do, (on the occasions that I can be bothered) is say to them: "Have you ever seen a fat distance runner: look at Paula Radcliffe!" When you make that comparison all but the dopiest idiots can make the connection!

nothing to worry about your dog looks in great shape i have never had anything said to me but the girlfriend has had people remarking how skinny the dog is, i think the uneducated think a big fat lab is a nice condition for a dog to be in

My dogs are broken coated so that helps, but I've got a smooth skinny foster from a rescue at the moment and he draws comments and looks. Some people just walk around looking for something to feel self righteous about.

I have had that a few times, mainly from idiots who have dogs so overweight that they look ready to keel over at any minute...........I would have had to have tore her off a strip I am afraid

Dog looks well enough to me. Does me head in when people go rrrr that dogs dead thin and try and feed it shit like chocolate. Which gets a response " What the f*ck are you doing, my dogs diabetic" I get on the train alot with her too and it does my head in pissed people on the weekend coming over molestering the dog and asking "does it bite" Does it fecking look like its bites? its got its heads on my knee and is out for the count.

 

You do get a good laugh at the public though, sent one fella into a pup to lend £60 off his mate to buy my dog, which he thought was a Labrador and when he come back out we was gone

The dog look's fit and healthy.... But imho I would of said an extra pound on the dog wouldn't go amiss

had it too....................one silly old bitch looked at me and demanded that I let her take the dog home.....and she would would keep it as I clearly didnt have a clue.......................this coming frm a woman with a 20 stone lab.....that could hardly walk.....

 

Not one to be rude to my elders...but we had a one sided converstaion after that...
