shepp 2,285
I was speaking to my allotment plot neighbour who bought a nice Jack Russell from a rescue centre. When she got it, it suffered from terrible shits. She went to the vet who gave it some paste to mix with it's chicken and rice, unfortunately it did not work. So she thought back to her childhood in Eastern Russia where she is from. They use a herbal cure for bad stomach's in people. You get a lump of oak bark the size of your thumb or a bit bigger and a couple of tea spoons of cumin seeds. Stick it in a pan, add boiling water and simmer for 40 mins. Bottle the liquid into a jam jar and stick in the fridge. And a couple of table spoons of the liquid with four feeds of chicken and rice a day. She said it works a treat. 1 Quote Link to post
