villaman 9,983
Went out yesterday evening and night with HW100k .177 and BSA ultra XTX tuned . Started of well shot 4 with in the first 1/2 hour , took them back to the van and left them in front of the van ,outside . Decided to go for a walk around one of my farm permissions just to see the best place for night vision later . found a good place ,walked back to the van for coffee arrived at the van and found 4 rabbits i shot earlier had gone . Farmer came down and asked me how am i doing , not bad i said and by the way have you picked up the rabbits i left by the van , he said no ,then out of the corner of my eye i spotted his dog running away with a rabbit in his mouth lol Any how got NV set up out and off i went and came back with a few 8 Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
I hang my stuff at eye level as I walk round, once hung two rabbits on a portable cattle crush, all I could hear was this din, bang, bang, bang, like an unclosed metal five bar gate in the wind. When I walked back round to see what it was, there was this big dog fox was swinging on the rabbits with it's back feet off the floor, and the side of the crush was banging where it was pulling. 2 Quote Link to post

mattwhite 1,993
Nice shooting pal. Cheeky bloody dog, He will have been legging it around burying them. I would have liked to see the disappointment on his little face if when he went in, you dug them up and wait till he goes to find them. And I'm a dog lover but that one's taking liberties??
