neil cooney 10,416
JMHO but I would think that that type of dog actually improved after the 20s. Naturally I'm talking about strongdogs, not Kerry Blues, they went down hill. 1 Quote Link to post

stop.end 4,079
to be honest the video was staged, and definitely better left in the 1920's .... the footage was staged as a sell my pups video..and was full of cruelty and baiting... releasing vermin/pests in an un natural environment to be hunted down by men with egos and dogs in a staged setting... when the animals did connect they were more interested in being in view of the camera than separating the animals making sure they are ok ... lol 1920! 2016 still the same facebook wannabes trying to get a chapter in a book... remember the pen is mightier than the sword! 3 Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Wrong Stop End, the video is a Kennel Club made film on how it was back then. Back then there wasn't enough folk with television etc. to spread trials etc. to the common man. It's a modern thing where idiots put up photos on web sites and public media of lurchers drawing etc. 5 Quote Link to post

Dead Eyes 681
Stop end is saying that the original footage is abhorrent, not disputing that the KC put it together, I think. I also think that it wouldn't be the first time that the kennel club would have put egos and 'face' first, before ethics 1 Quote Link to post
