Anyone seen much of this fella. 396-1 record as a amateur. Olympic gold medalist.

Fought for the world featherweight title in his second pro fight. Lost a split decision.

Won world featherweight title in his third fight defended it four times. Pro record 6-1 4 kos.

So probably at his peak for his weight. Sam Maxwell had a good go of him as an amature boxing for GB a few years back.

That is unbelievable to only lose one amateur bout. The fella who beat him must be really pumped up! Slightly off topic but there is a Japanese fighter with a similar story naoya inoue (forgive me if I spelt that wrong) I read about him recently he was a freak amateur and fought for a world title in his fifth fight or something like that. When he went pro he swore he would have no easy fights. Not really 'traditional' starts to pro careers.

For me next boxing superstar will be terrence Crawford guys amazing. His fight with Gambo is my favourite fight of recent times

I am a big fan of Crawford too, he fights Victor postol Saturday, both undefeated fighters, hopefully it is not too much of a chess match
