Turkey has an appaling human rights record , dont forget the invasion of cyprus which it still occupies the northern territory, worst scenario could be the Islamic state moving in with a greater foothold, no shortage of muslims in turkey.

Honestly Erdogan is a fecking tyrant who has been supporting IS under the table because they're fighting the Kurds, this could be a good thing not only for the Turkish people but the whole region.
