Alcoholics put it on their chips ?

Feeding a working lurcher (or any dog for that matter) is easy; Just feed a varied, but raw based, diet. That's it.

They dont want us to have natrual ways of healing and curing , cause wares therw profit?????? Sad but true

Here's an internet site promoting cider vinegar . http://thehealthyeatingsite.com/benefits-of-apple-cider-vinegar/

You'll notice it says that cider vinegar is an acid (because it is acetic acid) and that it's claims that it has an "alkaline effect" on the body are not backed up by any facts or studies.

You'll also notice the frequent use of the phrase "is said to" which, reading between the lines means "it isn't proven".

Lack of scientific evidence may not prove that it doesn't work but it definitely doesn't prove that it DOES work either.

If anyone has any real and provable evidence that it has any real health benefits to man or dog I'm waiting to hear it.

I know at least one person who was cured of arthritis using the Margaret Hills apple cider vinegar diet. This cure was recognised by the hospital specialist in a letter to a fellow specialist. The cure is based on it neutralising acid build up in the joints.

I'm not sure I agree about more good than harm if you're talking about the liquid form because of what acid can do to teeth. And ALL vinegar is acid. But in pill form maybe, or for skin problems. Anyway, everybody has to make up their own mind and I'm sure a dog never died from Apple cider vinegar, or even apple cider :drink:

well as I understand it the effect that ACV has on your stomach etc is to make your insides alkaline. Don't ask me how but I am 100% sure that the stuff itself is acidic. anyway, who cares. You give your dog ACV and i won't give it to mine. each to his own!

That's a good attitude to have. Far too many concern themselves with other people's methods.
