Cheers Jiggy I've left a wooden box and my jacket in the trees where I park my car. We walk there couple times a week so she knows the area well.

Gaz_1989 9,539
Cheers boys. I aren't on Facebook but my missus, sister and a couple of mates have posted for me so hopefully the word is getting about.
Gaz_1989 9,539
I retired my old terrier to a pet home, she would do this 3 times a week. She didn't go to ground but would just disappear for a couple of days and then turn up again nowhere near where I lost her.
Fieldsporthunter 1,864
I would go first light in the morning, sure she will turn up mate. I never listen to local pounds either, at least the ones round here. They take dogs in and don't admitted it until a day or two later to get extra £££. We lost a red terrier not long ago and rang around pounds, Facebook ect. Dog was last seen just after 3pm when it was fed and me mate woke up in morning to a empty kennel, anyway after pound saying they did not have it we went for a look anyway to find dog booked in from 2pm, a hour before it was fed?. lol. I'm sure you find her, atb.
jiggy 3,209
Thats where bellman and flint is handy you just have to walk over a few nearby earths and it tells you if dog is gone in. If you get a windy terrier with bleeper it might give you a positive mark to dig to in nearby earths i wouldnt drop a good terrier in you could lose valuable time digging game when your dog might not even be in that hole. Gaz_1989 9,539
I will be there at first light Fieldsportshunter. And back again midday and again before dark tomorrow. Cheers for heads up about the dog pounds. Makes sense that Jiggy. No good taking another terrier and risk putting that to ground when she isn't there.
Gaz_1989 9,539
Cheers TB25. Wouldn't say I love this terrier just yet, she's been giving me a lot of headaches just lately. Haha. Still wouldn't like the little f****r missing though. Would rather she was safe in her kennel.

Gaz_1989 9,539
I think they probably have to be honest DC. She's ventured to ground and gone missing before but never for this long. She always surfaces after a couple of hours. I will be back there at first light with lurchers so see what that produces.
