IanB 0
Anyone help out, I've not been able to get my TV working as it should, its a samsung model, with the dvd/surround/reciever seperate with 5.1 speakers....If I play a dvd thats 5.1 the sound is brilliant, but if I'm watching telly the sound only comes out of the tvs side speakers, how do I set it up so the music plays through all the speakers when just watching tv..? The TV and Receiver are connected with a HDMI cable, do I need seperate phono or optical cable to do this
higgins 75
i would 've thought you could switch to the source,aux/av/ext or something like that.Perhaps the TV setup needs to be configured to allow this, shouldn't normally have to unplug wires etc, Higgins. IanB 0
Got it sorted now, connected to the dvd/receiver with phono leads from the tv audio outs, I'll get an optical out later, as its sort of a default setting on this setup..
