And when you know how to use the kit and you know your dogs, there isn't much they can't tell you. Owain knows when his dogs are running something, when they are just hunting on scent, when they have killed something, when they are marking a tree and when they are marking something to ground. Got two buddy's who have the new alpha set up with two collars each direct from the states and with no up or downgrade they work fine , both display current os mapping and can be used as a training collar and have remote light. billhardy 2,342 Posted July 12, 2016 Report Share Posted July 12, 2016 Ray very sensible if thy get sorted out nought worse when they gone especially in forestry ,plenty kills lost only to be stumbled on weeks later,and also the knowledge of there whereabouts his a big plus can save or having lost dog.travelling here and there in strange country ain't the same when on home territory.good luck atb bunnys.
