Whatever your political beliefs it's a unique situation where those of us who hate labour and the political left want corbyn to win as we believe he will destroy labour....and the political left want him to win because they think he will save labour.

If your a white English person who loves the countryside and 'englishness' and you could vote labour then you must have a screw loose

Damn right...and anyone who hunts who votes for these freaks...well I don't even know what to say

Same could be said for anyone that votes for any of the major parties including UKIP, none of them have abolishing the Hunting Act as a policy...

The difference is most other parties don't want to touch the hunting issues with a ten foot barge pole....while it's a totemic issue for labour. If labour get in they will strengthen the ban and we would be finished

There's no plan or great appetite to make any changes to the Hunting Act within Labour...

Like I said before anyway it seems a bit silly to base your choice on who to vote for on their position on the Hunting Act alone, there's so many more things that will have a greater impact on your day to day life. Of course if you agree with loads of the other policies of the the "pro-hunting party" whichever that is then good for you but I can't get my head round voting for a party you disagree with on everything else just because you share their view on hunting (which seems to be what folk are implying hunters should do), even though it's incredibly unlikely they'd repeal the act.

I disagree . I believe labour would finish us.

Hunting, the countryside, and England is my reason for existing. All three are hated/to be destroyed by many in labour.

If you vote labour your are voting for the likes of Diane Abbott and chami chakrabatti .....

So you would vote for a party even if let's say you felt they would have a negative economic impact on the country and yourself as long as they shared your position on hunting, the countryside and England? Well it seems an odd position to take but if hunting is that important to you fair enough I guess.

I've always decided my vote on economic policy and it just seems weird to me deciding your vote based on feelings and nebulous concepts rather than any kind of concrete policy. I mean Nik said the fact Farage hunts and fishes was enough for him to vote UKIP, by that logic if Owen Smith wins he should vote Labour because Smith is a keen angler and has been on shoots before

Yes I believe an obsession with economic growth at any cost is a bad thing for a country.

Most politicians would screw us out of a desire to line their own nests or out of incompetence....but many labour MPs would screw us (white ,English, rural) due to a political belief and hatred of us. That's just a fact. Many politicians play the politically correct/multicultural game because they see it as something they must do to succeed....labour have a higher concentration of mps who actually believe in it

OK....why is immigration good for the UK.....From where I'm sitting the only people who welcome it with open arms are either ethnics that hate the British way of life....OR owners of big business that

No party that supports mass unchecked, uncontrolled immigration can claim to be the party of the working man, regardless of all their claims. The people most affected negatively and the biggest lose

Imagine that turn out!!.......   "Oh Jezza oppress me you whitey pig"   "Oh Di, my trident is armed and it's about to go off like Joseph Staling in a room full of political prisoners"   "Jezza,

The idea that anyone that doesn't agree with your very niche view on multiculturalism actively hates England and English people and wants to see them destroyed is fecking ridiculous and incredibly simplistic. They believe multiculturalism is a benefit to all, now you're perfectly entitled to disagree with that and call them stupid or misguided but acting like they're following some grand plan to destroy English culture because they just hate it all so damn much is just silly.

Maybe it is simplistic. But these people worship at the altar of multiculturaism/diversity...they don't go along with it because it's easy or the done thing....the believe in it....how could I ever vote for them? England has and is being destroyed by it...and these people want more of it.

Once I marched in London , for my job, my home and my way of life...John Prescott said 'each time I see the contorted faces of these people I redouble my determination to ban hunting'

Now in my book that is twisted and evil...and the labour party is riddled with it. As a welsh miner said that day in London..."labour are doing to my way of life that what Maggi did to my working life". At least Maggi had the defence that she believed what she did had to happen

That sums up labour to a T. They hate their own people especially the working class.

What did brown say about that woman who was worried about immigration " just a bigoted old woman"

She went on to vote labour anyway!!! That to me sums up labour AND the people who vote for them!

Latest......

GMB, the third largest union, ignored it's block vote, and balloted it's members........who backed Owen Smith !

A blow for Corbyn ?

Definitely a bit of a blow but not all that unexpected and because of the low turn out we can't really use it as a guide to how all the affiliated GMB members will vote in the leadership election.

We'll find out if the appeal against the high Court ruling on the cut off date for new members is successful or not tomorrow and then Smith's CLP are meeting to nominate on Friday. With calls for Watson to step down as deputy if the appeal that he pushed for fails and the fall out if Smith's own CLP doesn't nominate him it's shaping up to be an interesting weekend.

I have an opinion on political things but if I am honest I totally lost beleife in the whole charade long ago, for me the only way back would be if they were all wiped off the face of the earth and we started again with a clean sheet of complete amatures who have never had any involvement in politics.

I uses to think that you had to use your vote to make a point, I now think that everyone would make a much better point if they didnt waste their time going to the polling station and did something better instead.......like mow the lawn or go fishing.

Tatsblisters I always read your posts with interest mate, and I have to say with a bit of sadness, reading what you write starkly illustrates how allianated people have become from the people that steal and spend their tax money.

See years ago, a lad like you would have been "the enemy" to me.....and probably vice versa........but now we realise that we have all been f****d over and really we are comrades.

Maybe that's the one good thing to come out of how MPs have made things.........it's not you and me, it's them and us and we know it.

Bloody hell WILF pal you're getting dangerously close to joining me in shouting "WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE" :D:laugh:

No, I get where you're coming from and I agree with you TBH, I've got more in common with the average UKIP voter than I do a large chunk of the supposedly left wing MPs that are supposed to represent me. Everyone across the political spectrum is fed up with the Westminster elite, they have been for some time but I really feel like it's starting to reach that critical mass among the general public where some kind of big change is becoming inevitable. I mean when me and you, folk who are about as opposite it gets when it comes to politics, can agree on so much when it comes to the out of touch Westminster elite you know something is seriously fecked.

Folk are getting fed up with just going through the motions putting their X in the box to elect the same empty suits that don't give two fecks about them or their communities once they've been elected.

f**k the the whole thing, its a scam,an your dribbling at the mouth, lol put your mind to someone/something that cares, cause politics dont care, its a cleverly mastered system which by all means is fooked without people, but dodos like yourself are mesnorized, yove alot of passion im sure you could direct in a good way instead of to basically people who dont care for you.atb

I never paid much heed to politics or politicians until the hunting ban was looming.

I then had cause to meet and converse with mp's of all major parties.

Until then I always assumed the people who would seek to govern us were a bit more switched on and better educated than us ordinary plebs.

Boy was I fecking wrong.
