Hw110 Loading The Mag Pian In The Ass

After handing the Diana over Si got out his rifles for me to look over

 

more important the hw110 now this was the rifle i was more interested in more than the others

 

TO ME IT

 

FELT NO MORE HEAVIER THAN THE HW100 CARBINE

 

AND MOST OF THE WAIT FELT TO ME LIKE IT WAS IN THE FORE GRIP OF THE STOCK

 

NOT AT THE BACK OR AT THE FRONT OF THE RIFLE THAT IN ITS SELF IS A GOOD THING IF YOU ASK ME AS IT HELPS WITH THE BALANCE

 

NOW THE PAIN IN THE ASS IS THE SWITCH THAT YOU PUSH UP AS YOU HAVE TO HOLD IT UP AND NOT JUST CLICK IT OVER LIKE THE HW100

 

TRYING TO HOLD THIS IN PLACE AND PLACE THE MAG IN AT THE SAME TIME TAKES SOME DOING , AND AT ONE POINT I HAD THE RIFLE UP SIDE DOWN TO ACHIEVE THIS

 

AND YOU CANT HOLD THE RIFLE WITH THE BARREL POINTED DOWN AS THE PIN WHICH HOLDS THE MAG IN PLACE POPS OUT AND YOU CANT LOAD THE MAG SO IT HAS TO BE POINTED UP OR LEVEL AT ALL TIMES .

 

NOW I NEVER HAD A SHOT OF IT BUT I KNOW THIS LOADING SYSTEM IS GOING TO BE A RIGHT PAIN OUT IN THE FIELD WHEN YOU FIRE YOUR LAST SHOT AND YOU NEED TO RELOAD A NEW MAG QUICK AS THERE IS NOTHING QUICK ABOUT IT

 

looking AT ONE IN THE RFD,S AND HAVING A GO AT THE LOADING SYSTEM MAY SEEM OK BUT OUT IN THE FIELD IT IS GOING TO BE A PAIN

 

VM,,, KEEP YOUR MONEY MATE AND GET A 20 HW100 HONEST IT WILL BE THE BEST CHOICE YOU COULD OF MADE ,,,,,,,ME,,,,,,,,

 

IM JUST OVER THE MOON THAT I GOT LITTLE HUNTER THE HW100 CARBINE MATE

 

DON'T LIKE THE 110 AT ALL

 

SI IM NOT PULLING YOUR RIFLE TO BITS MATE WHAT MAY BE GOOD FOR YOU MAY NOT BE FOR ME AND THE HW110 IS DEFO NOT FOR ME AT ALL

 

AND YOU WERE RIGHT SI THE LOADING OF THE RIFLE IS THE ONLY BAD POINT OF THE RIFLE

 

BUT ITS A BAD POINT VERY BAD INDEED

I'll have to get down to the gun shop and have a look, sounds like a problem for me too, I was going to use the 110 for mounting night vision to, bugger. Can't you use your left fingering finger to hold the switch up with your left hand and use your right hand to place the mag?

As soon as I get the nod that the fx impact is in its getting chopped in along with the 177 100!

Knock away Jimmy, it was a full on impuls buy, if I'd fecked about with it in the shop I'd of walked out with the wildcat he was trying to shift!! lol

It sounds a bit like the loading mechanism on a Cricket - that needs 3 hands until you get used to it.

EVEN THE MAG DESIGN LOOKS CHEEP AND NASTY IN ITS SELF

 

You have to be a contortionist to put the mag in when its full fitted out

 

why o why did they not stick to the hw100 loading system it would of been one hell of a rifle

 

and would of been one to match or even beat the hw100 legend

 

but its not just m,op iv talked to a few lads that have them now and they all say the same thing

 

its the loading system that lets the rifle down

 

BUT AS IV SAY,D MITCH

 

WHAT DOSE NOT SUIT ME MAY SUIT YOU

 

Ill stick with the hw100 and the hw100 carbine

 

and i think the hw100 carbine is a far better rifle

Where it is makes it not that easy . stealthy

 

its trying to hold it up at the same time putting the mag in plus the way the mag sits in the port even trying to take the mag out is a pain mate as it dose not slide out like the hw100 you have to lift it and then slide it out and if the pin is not pushed right up it will not release the mag .

 

I try,d a few times and could not do it in one go and where the release pin is located you can not reach it from under the rifle with one hand and release the mag your hand has to come ether over the rifle or to the side and when the scope is fitted makes this awkward to achieve not impossible but awkward

 

There is no quick ans easy way to do it at all unless you lay the rifle down on the ground on its side and do it that way .

 

IM NOT SAYING DONT BUY ONE AS THE LOOK OF THE RIFLE IS SPOT ON AND THE WAIT IS GOOD THE BALANCE IS PERFECT AND SHE IS QUIET ,

 

ALL IM SAYING IS PUT A SCOPE ON AND TRY BEFORE YOU BUY AS IT IS A PAIN MIND

if you've got it on the pod and your laid out as you would be, the right hand has to push up the release so you have to use your left hand to push the mag out!!

as the mag is secure as feck it needs a good push and the mag comes flying out and gets covered in sh!te!!
