NEWKID 27,159
I notice people on average get fatter as you go further north, I even saw the difference between here and the West Midlands.Never noticed that myself and travel a fair bit.Plymouth, Cornwall, Luton, Southampton, Slough and Torbay have been ranked in the top 10 fattest cities in Britain. The other 4 are Bradford, Salford, Wirral and Worcester. Bit harsh on Cornwall... It's a county not a city!! Also Torbay is full of Northeners and Plymouth......... Well the less said the better lol Edited July 12, 2016 by NEWKID

jiggy 3,209
Bit disconcerting to discover that I could meet someone for drink and they decide I'm a lazy ,untrustworthy feker with no standards before I have even sat down .Your over 60 you can get away with it apparently......if your obese Stan then put the cakes down and liven yourself up.......sorry and all that but what sort of pal would let his mate become a disgusting mess !.... if a mate of mine allowed me to get in such a state and didnt pull me up then he aint a real mate as far as im concerned.whats the catch weight shallow hal what if people that actually achieved something in life like tyson furey, ronaldo, roy keane or conor mcgregor look down and said gnasher your a lazy person you didnt try hard enough.By the way im not fat but i dont judge people because of it many fat people acheived far more than you or i did. It wouldnt bother me in the slightest simply because i can look myself in the mirror and know i tried my hardest to be the best i could be....i dont think many obese people can do that.fighters/sportsmen what you describe will very rarely go onto a life of obesity as they have lived a disciplined life take a fighter like Naseem who is constantly ridiculed about his weight yet he is nowhere near obese....overweight yes but again people who have experienced the necessary discipline to compete i dont think often lose that discipline. Have a look on the Neapolitan Mastiff topic on here or the state of the British Bulldog breed folk talk about how disgraceful these breeds have become yet excuse the same within the human race its bizarre to me but i certainly wouldnt be directly rude to anyone i just presumed that here on a forum for active dogs/people most members would be of the same mindset as they ask of their dogs but my apologies if ive offended anyone. everyone aspires to be the best they can be some make it some dont some try hard some dont it doesnt make them a lesser individual or a weak person the thing is you have probably insulted some people maybe a lot of people it takes all kinds to make the world we all have our weakness in different ways look outside the box maybe something like depression caused them to lose focus but dont be so hard to judge buddy.

Like i say i think as long as folk can look themselves in the mirror and with honesty not be sad about whats looking back then its all good......i guess most what i said was aimed at the chap who said theres nothing the ugly fat kid with no ability can do ive seen enough people come from nothing to make something of themselves to know thats the wrong attitude.......but maybe i came across a bit harsh and a bit of a wanker so like i say im sorry......and thanks for explaining it in a gentlemanly way Edited July 12, 2016 by gnasher16
Kay 3,709
Addressing issues in your life is the first step, I have had times in my life when i looked at myself & I didn't aspire to what I am supposed to look like physically.... lines on my face.. carrying more weight than I would have liked to . Once I addressed the issues the rest sorted its self out & tbh I look the way I look & I have no interest in '' bettering myself '' by indulging myself in whatever '' fad miracle cream'' is in this months '' vogue'' I have some lines on my forehead....
