I'm not exactly fat but my bmi says I'm obesse !

According to BMI figures I am obese too and should be 12 stone at my height. Lol
According to bmi figures if I was 8 ft 9 I would be perfect for my weight ..?

A lot of overweight people are like they are due to other health issues not because they over eat.

Very, very small minority.

The only relevant equation is more calories taken than burnt = fat.

I agree with Shepp 100%.

 

All overweight people are overweight because they over eat and under excersise.

 

If they have a medical condition or take medication which reduces their metabolism then they need to move more and eat less until they find the balance. It really is that simple.

I notice people on average get fatter as you go further north, I even saw the difference between here and the West Midlands.

Never noticed that myself and travel a fair bit.

 

Plymouth, Cornwall, Luton, Southampton, Slough and Torbay have been ranked in the top 10 fattest cities in Britain.

 

The other 4 are Bradford, Salford, Wirral and Worcester.

Never noticed that myself and travel a fair bit.

Plymouth, Cornwall, Luton, Southampton, Slough and Torbay have been ranked in the top 10 fattest cities in Britain.

The other 4 are Bradford, Salford, Wirral and Worcester.

Mind you I was at the good food show lol
