MR RABBIT 715
Hard graft if both trades are on price ,,,what pisses me off is forklift drivers now ,,wet trades should be first to get loaded in mornings not joiners there wood doesn't go off or stuff does,,,and scaffolding ALWAYS set up for joiners never us
MR RABBIT 715
I've got plastering machine and generator now so money's good now alot easier,,,but sometimes on sites we have to hand apply mainly two coating stairwells ,,where skill is to do right,,still on prices of twenty years ago yet most new apprentices or poles can't do it,,,beats me why it ain't better money

Rake aboot 4,936
".try traveling 4 days to the middle of the jungle in the highlands of Papua New Guinea being escorting by armed guards everywhere you go working 36 hour shifts away from home for 6-8 weeks ." Sounds magic. So how does your family like it ?
MIK 4,763
that is just some of the sacrifices I have to make to allow my family have a comfortable life style and being away from home for half the year makes you appreciate your family time all the more but remember I am also home for 6 months when my time is mine and can probably spend as much time with my family as someone who works a 9 to 5 job
