adbirdy 14
Hi All, Had a squirrel cage trap for a while now had a lot of success with it but the springs now seem to be a bit slack. Do I cut the springs a bit shorter or does anyone know where I can get some replacements? Thanks for any help Ade Quote Link to post
myersbg 1,385
Fourteen acre sell trap springs, service is outstanding. A new trap doesn't cost a lot, Albi make a brilliant Squirrel trap and they are British made. Quote Link to post
adbirdy 14
Yes I had a look at fourteen acre and the only springs I could see on there are for Larsen mates and are almost twice the length of my ones on the squirrel cage. Might have a look at albi traps as well. Quote Link to post
john b 38
Oh it's the extension springs you need ? Not torsion ones. These are about 150mm so if you only want 90mm they're really easy to cut down. Just cut through with a pair of snips and then bend the first complete right out to 90 degrees If you could get away with 75mm you could get two out of each. https://www.fourteenacre.co.uk/shop/pair-extension-springs-long/ Quote Link to post
