Triple G Vs Brook

On the day of the fight they have to now have a check weigh-in to prevent fighters having a massive size advantage come fight time, is this getting through that dense head of yours???

Dogfox im not going to get into a shit slinging contest.....i know you think you are right and it all makes sense in your head.....but you are wrong in virtually everything you are saying.......the above being a simple example.............fight day check weigh ins are not to prevent any size advantages they are simply to ensure fighters cant rehydrate more than the allowed %.......its a safety thing.

As regards gaining mass on a calorie deficit......again we are talking about lean tissue not muscle mass im not sure you know the difference between how weight/water/conditioning relates to " a fight " and how it relates to a bodybuilding contest we we are not talking about nutrient timing we are talking about how the body pulls away from water in a weight cut........to say Brook is/was/or ever will be a bigger man than Golovkin is just silly.....i ask you again if Carl Frampton weighed in at 161 and Golovkin weighed in at 160 at 6pm on a Friday night is Carl Frampton a bigger man at 6 pm on that Friday night ?.....its not a difficult question ?

The very simple way at looking at Golovkin/Brook as physical specimens is Brook CAN make welterweight......Golovkin could never make welterweight without eating into muscle tissue.......it would be like saying Tony Bellew COULD make middleweight !

Wrong again Gnasher, the rehydration clause is not a mandatory safety regulation. Amir Khan refused to ask for a rehydration clause against Canelo. You do know that putting on weight isn't a sign that a fighter is hydrated? It's a safety measures for the smaller guy, so they aren't at a massive size disadvantage come fight night.

I'll say it again, Brook was the BIGGER man at the weigh-in and on the day of the fight, was he not? Funny how you skip my point of Golovkin saying he could make 154lb with ease, the man isn't a massive Middleweight at all.

Who said he was a massive middleweight ?...........no more funny than you skipping my question about Frampton ?.........it is quite funny watching you rant on its clear you know a little bit....but not a lot :D im not entirely sure your not on a wind up so i,ll leave it there......maybe one day i,ll be a big proper full time boxing fan like what you are but i just dont have the dedication to put the leg work in these days so i,ll just rely on plain old experience........ta ta champ
Why bring up a midget like Frampton anyway? Seeing as though boxing is governed by weight and not height then yes if he was heavier than Golovkin on the night then he would be the bigger man on the night would he not?

Aren't you the guy who said Tyson was just a come forward slugger when in reality he was one of the greatest technical heavyweights of all time? I hope one day to have half the knowledge of you Mr Boxing ? one can wish hey...

I love a good debate to get the nightly juices going...

Over the years I have read some strange opinions about boxing ,some absolute idiotic statements but saying Golovkin is all hype ,must be the silliest most ignorant one yet .

This will teach ol man Eubank to stop f****n around with his sons career !

Enough said !

Exactly, you know as well as I do it wasn't the size that beat Brook. GGG is a brilliant fighter, he cuts the ring off better than anyone I can remember.

While Brook is recognized as the smaller man, Sanchez expects him to be the bigger man on fight night. Brook weighed 176-pounds when the WBC made him undergo their mandatory 30-day weight check. Golovkin was eleven pounds lighter at 165-pounds. Sanchez has gone up against Brook and his trainer Dominic Ingle in the past, when the British fighter struggled to win a decision against Carson Jones several years ago. Brook claimed that he nearly killed himself to make weight for that fight and had nothing left in the ring. The rematch was a different story, with Brook powering past Jones for a knockout win. "I know that he's not going to be smaller than Golovkin. He's going to be bigger than Golovkin, even on the night of the fight. My question is, can he take the power for twelve rounds - if it happens to go twelve rounds.... I don't think so," Sanchez told Sky Sports.

Even GGG's trainer said Brook would be bigger on fight night, he was but he actually wasn't.....

DogFox123 we understand this is the first fight you've seen and you really enjoyed it and are passionate but surely rather than scream everybody is wrong and constantly contradict yourself you'd be better to just listen. The threads gone sour and now folk will probably not post other boxing threads so how are you going to know when the next fight is so you can watch it.

I've been watching fights longer than you've been collecting giros sunshine. I suppose Golovkin's trainer was wrong and the weighing scales.... If you need any advice in future don't be afraid to ask petal..
