Lewissc 48
Hi guys I've recently got myself a 3ltr diving bottle to fill my r10se, the gauge was damaged when I bought it but everything else on the bottle is pucker. Went to fill my r10 today and accidently overfilled it, it took about 5 or 6 shots to get it back down to 232bar or there abouts, just wanted to ask if it's likely to have damaged anything by overfilling it slightly or would I have got away with it this once? Many thanks Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
You would have noticed any damage straight away, I would imagine. I'd give it a few shots at a target just to make sure all is still ok. My daughters Goldstar se says to fill to 232bar but, I only ever go to 200. Atb Quote Link to post

Lewissc 48
Any of you guys know how to replace a broken gauge on a bottle? Can you just screw it off even if the bottle is filled? Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Any of you guys know how to replace a broken gauge on a bottle? Can you just screw it off even if the bottle is filled? Yes as the gauge is past the purge valve. You will need to know the thread size but it's likely to be 1/8 bsp. Quote Link to post
