hounddog3 744
I was looking another full deerhound but I had to say no as I couldn't give it all the time I would need 2 so might have to settle for a wee rabbiting dog .gutted but thats life. Quote Link to post
'sully' 1,119
I'd like a beddy/grey/whip maybe a touch of collie , there's a very well bred litter at age that I know of and may just have to pic up a pup 2 Quote Link to post
WILF 46,786
I dont honestly know if I will ever have another, something would have to change big time with regards to access to the proper graft. The ground round me dont really lend itself to the big machine type dogs I would like to hunt foxes, hunting the hares with say a smaller type would hold no interest for me as there ain't that many hares really in the first place. So sadly, I probably won't ever own one again. Quote Link to post

Game is thin on the ground around these parts, permission is even thinner on the ground and nights off work for lamping are hard to come by of late. I sometimes think I don't need the 2 lurchers I've got but they are here to stay now and they enjoy the daytime mooching even though it's often unproductive. I can't see me ever being without a little runner though. Even if it's just a little whippet in years to come. When them cold windy nights come i get excited like a kid in a sweet shop.
