I dont honestly know if I will ever have another, something would have to change big time with regards to access to the proper graft.

The ground round me dont really lend itself to the big machine type dogs I would like to hunt foxes, hunting the hares with say a smaller type would hold no interest for me as there ain't that many hares really in the first place.

So sadly, I probably won't ever own one again.

I know what you're saying fella. Game is thin on the ground around these parts, permission is even thinner on the ground and nights off work for lamping are hard to come by of late. I sometimes think I don't need the 2 lurchers I've got but they are here to stay now and they enjoy the daytime mooching even though it's often unproductive.

I can't see me ever being without a little runner though. Even if it's just a little whippet in years to come. When them cold windy nights come i get excited like a kid in a sweet shop. Lol

I look forward to it mate. My brother in law is over your side of the water at the moment getting the mortgage in place and meeting with bank advisors etc. Hopefully they will be moved over there in a few months and I will be over to you when the season is just getting going :-)

Really appreciate that mate. Top man. I will get over to you for a mooch regardless of wether that permission comes off or not. My missus wants to go over there 3-4 times a year to see her young niece and dogs will be coming with me. So breakfasts on me mate ?
