Joe1888 672
Ive been asked to do abit rabbit control a few miles away, am planning to ferret the day, camp the night with maybe abit on the lamp depending on heat and air rifle then ferret next day... If i manage to get anything on day 1, will they keep to the following night when i can get home and freeze them and be safe for human consumption, any recomdations? No game dealer near by that i know of... Edited July 7, 2016 by Joe1888 Quote Link to post

jok 3,397
Same as the pigeon lads do. Muslin tube, seal one end whilst out in the day, rabbits in, fold over while still working, close of play seal other end end in the cool box. They are cheap enough and you just plug them in the fag lighter. The beauty of the muslin is that the blowflies lay on the outside which is then easy to wash. Hope you have a good couple of days pal. TOMO 27,424
You don't have to buy a 12v one,,,get a couple of cheap ones from asda,,,£10. ,,buy some of them things that keep things cool,,,or some bags of ice cubes,,,,if you gut and skin ,,you would get 20 in a regular cool box,,especially this time of hear with lots of 3/4 grown,,, These boxes will keep them plenty cool till you get home 2 Quote Link to post
