walshie 2,804
I always remember it. My lad was on a school trip to the museums that day. The wife was hysterical. Unfortunately the press seem to think a few people bashing a ball round at Wimbledon is more newsworthy. Or is it more PC? RIP all the innocents who lost their lives. My Mrs. was a juror that day at Southwark Crown Court, my son rang from Australia and asked what the fcuk was going on in London. Being a miserable fcuker I don't have TV or radio on, so that was the first I heard of it and put the tele on.

arcticgun 4,548
Another tradgedy that Tony Blsir is in part responsive for, sickening too see it simply brushed under the carpet but hardly surprising really

You can't expect a massive public display of grief every year, the country needs to move on at some point. RIP to those who died and my thoughts are with all those still effected by the events of that day. Edited July 7, 2016 by BGD

We can't live in fear constantly replaying those events though, at the end of the day the 7/7 bombings were 11 years ago and there's not been a comparable attack on British soil since. walshie 2,804
A crime as heinous as that should be remembered even if it was 100 years ago. No-one's saying live in fear of those dogs, but the dead deserve to be remembered. And just because there hasn't been a comparable attack on British soil since, doesn't mean there won't be.
