Thanks for the info all, tree I'll let you know, is 1.5 too big? There is a fasteners place up the road from us so I'm gunna pop in there tomorrow and see what they have got. I'll keep you posted.

Its half a mm up on the pitch of the thread but the plug is plastic so you might get away with it as its softer than the steel on your gun. Its a German thread (DIN)

So, been up to the fasteners near me in search of a plug with the thread m22x1. Apparently it is a very rare thread size and would struggle to find one. Next step, my step father works at a engineering factory and is going to try and mill a cap suitable. Soon as I get it I'll post it up. All going good I might get a batch made up so if anyone is interested your have to let me know.

Finally managed to get one ! My step father manufactured me a muzzle end cap out of engineer grade hardened plastic, fits and looks superb. Am going to get a batch made up so if anyone is interested please get in touch.

Hi Chally69. I have a similar issue. I purchased a second hand Weihrauch HW97kt with a moderator and wish to remove it, however, I was not given the end cap by the previous owner. I have not been able to source a replacement despite contacting Hull and Chambers. I also tried a couple of local gun shops and none have been able to help. Did you ever have any more of these made? and if so, would you be prepared sell me one?
