Never really hunted or dug any mink myself; the terrier's must of had a smell of them themselves or in the cover.black dog is around four years old' rippem' would have a fair bit of patterdale in its line

He's a nice looking dog..is he off something you breed yourself?

yes bred it off it off the parents to it I owned and worked and I had the grandparents and same owned and worked them.dog has been good worker and keen to go from young 'I kept it back bit didn't wrong it working young. This dog was it'd grandad ' he was a big to big ' it was hard get it right sometimes'very keen dog and no problem with a fox but not as in my times out as good as smaller dog .

Got this mink out of a creek bank that had been thoroughly excavated by beaver. Took the red dog a minute to get it bottled up, but as always he did not dissapoint.
