Hw 100 .22 Cal - Which Pellet ?

Recommended Posts

Not wishing to impose on a previous post, here`s a picture of the HW 100 ks / Falcon Accuracy Plus 13.43 g, 5.52 mm hunting combination.

The flat trajectory, velocity and striking power of this .22 pellet made me go and buy 5000 of them.

I look forward to trying these out when my dear wife get down the 1500 AA Field she has in stock.
I do wonder why the .177 version does not have the same following as in the world of .22, is it the fact that in 177, it is too light and more prone to cross winds.

crosswind, head and tail winds phil, hence why I keep going back to 10.6 in bis mags, there really is a lot of difference in flight

Read this it might change your mind on light pellets http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/174275-Massive-177-JSB-Pellet-Velocity-Test-0-50-metres

I use to think the same but after trying FAP in .22 and AA express in .177 they knock spots off on other pellets
