Thanks in advance What size do these Malinoise or Dutch Shepherd get too ? i am sure it between 23 -25tts the ducth herder is a stockier built animal than the malinois and weighs slightly heavier. The dutchies can get get really big depending on what else might be in the mix.Check out a dog called big Roy on YouTube owned by Hans Pegg.My pal has a pup out of him at the moment 27inches and 75lb at 7 months He's some animal 1 Quote Link to post

downsouth 7,400
Looking at my mates pup I'd be inclined to think there's a dash of mastiff of some type in the mix.My other mate has decoyed for the dog out in Holland and said when the dog does his bark and hold its very unnerving to have the dog bouncing up and down barking at your chest.Roy was recently sold to an Arab family for £100.000. Either that or rottweiler.my mate was explaining to me that they can be crossed and the resulting offspring can be put on a database then once they've been crossed back a certain amount of times 2or3 can't remember exactly the pups can be registered as pure herders.A lot of the lines have a small amount of bull or/and mastiff blood in them. Moja 111
Cracker of a big dog, and trained to the hilt I liked him. His back legs moved a little out wards when in full stride anybody else notice that, Certainly wouldn't be messing with that, that leg hold he had right into the back of the knee, don't thinking you'd be trying to walk off again when it let go Quote Link to post

I think there's plenty of breeds that make as good if not better guard dogs.If you want a patrol/active service or sport dog they are deffinately the best breeds out there. Quote Link to post
Moja 111
What do really need as a guard? Me nothing ain't got shit to take dog is in the house, BUT I think most people would be more than happy with a little russle or yapping lap dog as a deterant, these to me are alittle more specialised imo, other want a fcuk off thing sitting on a chain that would bite anything in reach to me that ain't a true guard that an accident waiting to happen Quote Link to post
