A lot of crying lefties seem to think it was all about immigration when it wasn't, the establishment think it was all about money when it wasn't yet it is still terrible democracy worked

Blackbriar 8,569
I've been involved in many political groups and causes over the years, but I would never support, encourage or condone violence......simply because it doesn't achieve anything. The population is generally too apathetic be enlisted, and the police and army are too large, too well - disciplined, too well equipped and too loyal to their employers. Peaceful demonstrations and marches are allowed, however large, (and rightly so), but as soon as things 'get a bit lively', the response and outcome are predictable. Although, it is remembered for its aftermath, the Poll Tax March mobilised a massive number of people who protested peacefully, and played a part in Thatcher's downfall. 25-odd years ago, Vaclav Havel lead his supporters to power in the old Czechoslovakia, in what became known as "the Velvet Revolution"...the clues in the name ! Violence can get things done, but the balance of power is far too skewed at the moment. Identity politics are here to stay, and the English man is just about remembering he even has an identity,in 15-20 years most of us will be as cohesive as Asians in this country are now imo, then we can get the ball rolling.
