Halogen for me

I would try anything new but I wouldnt bother with anything you cant put a filter on. It maybe alright for some but not on our land. I need a lamp with a filter that can easily be taken off with one hand when the dog is running.

Jeemes i.usually snap.one of the clips.off.the filter makes it much easier to pop off i find . Tryed the led.ones and cant get on with them one bit

I know what you mean. I used to do that with 170 and blitz. the blazerlite has it on a hinge which is part of a little wedge that fits onto the lamp. I usually glue that in or it can fall out sometimes. I would like someone to do a cross between the two and have a hinge but a lug or somekind of location so the filter didnt move from side to side and let white light out.

Halogen for me

These LED lamps are the future. Halogen is on its way out along with wires and separate batteries.

Move with the times lads

You are probrely right mate but there's naw wrong with a bit of old school lol I do pefer the colour of the halogen but iv only used a plr500 and it was a good lamp don't know if something was wrong with mine but It just didn't have the distance of the tracer 170.

Got to be honest, I've a small wireless lamp off D Lloyd and it's a cracking little lamp, the biggest plus for me is no wires...

But..... I am struggling a bit with the white light, not sure why, I just can't pick squatters as easily in the beam.

I still like the halogens, the tracer 210 variable with lithium pack is my main lamp, problem is the wirings shit.

Would the led lamps be any good for preban days they seen fine for rabbits but how would they fair in the preban times

Not sure what model I've got (crap with names and numbers lol), but was one from the first lot Dai has up, only £50 and worth the money.

Wouldn't be my choice over a blitz or tracer 210 on big land and long runs.
