Yeah I had two mate broke up with the girlfriend pretty much lost everything through it had to start from scratch about a year ago just got a house and got shares in my bosses business so thought time was right to start again was gutted when they went

He looks to be a hella good dog. I'm not familiar with the sire and dam tho. Can you help a guy fron the states out a bit and give me a idea of what he's got in him?

He's what's called a "coursing dog" or "fen dog" on this side of the pond. The makeup is mostly saluki and greyhound but the breeding of most lines traces back to the late 70's or early 80's and going back that far there are often bits of other breeds too, some lines throwing broken coated and "wooly" dogs.

More important than breeds is performance and they are bred to run hares single handed though they can excel at other quarry too. People try to get pups from sires and dams that have run well and that have similar breeding. Family trees usually show the same names coming up several times on both sides of the pedigree.

Yeah lost them all mate was paying 25 pound a week to keep them on a farm but with my job and the farm been out of the way was hardly seeing them plus the ex rang the rspca on me to try get them took off me but they came and had a go at her for wasting there time was an absolute nightmare at the time
