8 Month Old Nutter

Recommended Posts

You know what I really don't give to f**k what you lot think I posted to show some one now they seen her and as for winding her up no mate don't need to like said she is a nutter and goes like that at everything passing cars to yard brushes so calm down ya bunch of f**k wits

This pup i got from Taz flew into the hoover the first few times it was used around it,he also flew at cars on the road when he first started going out, with a LITTLE dissapline and a reasuring touch he now totaly ignores the hoover ,don't even flinch at a tractor going close past him on the lead. It's piss easy lee and your just trying the old aggressive bollocks to cover up your short commings with terriers. You had a chance with a good little bitch who'd have taught you so so much but you couldn't/wouldn't/won't take the time to learn the trade properly and were looking far to far ahead mate and it still looks like your not prepared to look at your mistakes and try to do things the right way with the "your all a bunch of f**k wits" bit, some were really trying to help you but i think your chances are the same as that dog now and that ain't very high with your and it's currant attitude dude... ...

To strim a bit off the time some chastisements take to sink in ,use the hose pipe .Couple of well aimed squirts and won't be doing that no mower .

Your matching that dog way above its punching weight ... At 8 months I would have expected to see it matched against a battery strimmer that was low on power ... Once she has proved herself on them then move up to an electric strimmer .... Give her a full season barking at the electric strimmer to gain some confidence then slowly introduce her to a petrol strimmer ... Don't even think about lawn mowers for the next couple of seasons ... Matching a young dog against a lawnmower even an electric one is a recipe for disaster ... You will sicken the dog before it's had a chance to mature and you will end up with a dog that's only any good for leaf blowers .........

The thing is no two dogs are the same...same as people.we all do things differently ,some start the dogs of young some not so young..in both cases it works for the owner..or maybe not.. myself would be very uneasy with starting the pup of with a mower though. I have never done it myself but I would think a good well seasoned mower could sicken such a young dog very fast. Each to there own though.but a do agree with what socks has said...

You know what I would of never of thought to reassure her or to chastise her for doing it .short of blindfolding her and putting ear defenders on her I don't honestly think she would stop apart from kick the shit out of her and I've never struck a dog in my life . And rabbit hunter if she does turn out a gassy adult she will be offered back to breeder failing that pts it is what it is as they say

The folk who are gifting you these dogs can't be very bright their selves(or value their terriers) imo-use your head abit and you might get something that will last a season lee-my last two terriers each gave me 8/10 good seasons working .You don't seem to value the dogs with the attitude you have...I could be wrong but I won't hold my breath.atb dc

Like i say mate a gentle reasuring touch is all it took for mine to stop going at cars and a few shouts of a stern NO stopped the hoover, the cars it was a nervous thing he was reacting to and the hoover was him just being up for a tussle and both were stopped in a day.If the pup had needed a sterner hand and even pysical reprimand it would have got it as that behavour is no good for man or beast Lee and better to stop it before it becomes a habit  .You don't have to hit a dog but pysical reprimand is a massive part of the dogs own lanuage and to dominate your dog is the only way of having full control over it,Were all saying the same thing to you just using different words and don't take it to heart were all digging at you as i for one would like to see you and a dog succeed and learn the game,it's just you need to slow down and get things done in the right order and i do promise you you and the dogs will have a so much better time together. :victory: ....

Rolled up newspaper and a sharp tip over the snout usually does the trick and does the pup little harm just lets it know right from wrong.
