kanny 20,667
The dust will soon settle acceptance will seep in for most and people will get on with it and those still trying to kick up dust will be seen as trouble makers and ridiculed for it . We just need to stand firm and United until we remove the pariste that is the EU.

Not really, he stood by everything he said about the problems of the EU but when it came to the referendum he decided it made more sense to remain and try and reform from the inside. Did you ever actually watch any of the speeches he gave or did you just get what you think his views were from the media?

I did watch a bit aye but to say he was half hearted is being gratuitous, I thought he was supposed to be passionate about stuff he believed in. Not really leader type material imo. ? I did watch a bit aye but to say he was half hearted is being gratuitous, I thought he was supposed to be passionate about stuff he believed in. Not really leader type material imo. ? Why would he be really passionate about what he considers a deeply flawed organisation? He saw staying in and pushing for reform as the better of two bad choices. Maybe not a great passionate argument with lots of snappy soundbites but at least it's consistent, considered and honest, the sort of thing everyone is saying they want more of from our politicians. Or would you have preferred him to run a dishonest, passionate campaign where he denied all the problems of the EU?
