I got an open ticket after two years despite my force having a strict policy of three years minimum. I got all my calibres from LR to .243 and FAC shotgun opened up.....But it wasn't easy and took a lot of phone calls and letters detailing my previous firearms experience and proof of culling large deer, before I could get what I wanted from them. I suggest you have good sound reasons before applying, trying the old chestnut of keep putting land clearance requests in don't work with my force and I know two others who tried this and are just frustrating themselves not the force. David Aiken 253
Location, location, location! I received my first FAC (.22lr) 2nd May 2015. I sent in a variation to have my FAC open and .17hmr to be added December 2015. Received my FAC end of March this year, both .22lr and .17hmr were on an open ticket, after just 10 months, having had my first FAC for only 7 months! Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Put your case and ask. Too many variables to get a yes or no here! ATB! 1 Quote Link to post
