scottish lurcher 185
Ms krankie only wants to make a name for herself and is power hungry, but I must be only scot who wants her to shove her referendum Edited June 24, 2016 by scottish lurcher
neil82 1,083
could they make even half the economic justifications for Scotland going it alone now, most of their proposed economy was based on oil prices (even though the oil was not scotland`s, it was the UK`s), now that oil collapsed even with the recent rises in price do they really think they can afford to go independent, don`t for one second think that the EU will be able to finance them, without the UK`s money every year the EU will be skint, the only other net contributor is Germany and if they try increasing their contributions the people there might force the same thing we have just had, a chance to leave

I'm not sure the UK can afford to support 6 counties as a separate country without the EU funding that has been pouring into the region since the good Friday agreement. The Brexit was a great result for Nationalists, in Ireland.

Fieldsporthunter 1,864
2.6 million Scottish voters. Approx 60% to stay 40% to leave. So that's approx 1.4 million out of a total of 33 million votes. Sturgeon is a idiot and her only objective is divide and rule.
