BGD 6,436
What about the c**t from Ryanair who straight away said there will be no investment from his company for the next 2 years while they expressed other options....f**k off and base yourself in France or Germany then and see how you fair. Business likes certainty, I can't see many businesses investing while Brexit negotiations are ongoing it just doesn't make sense investing in an economy when it's about to go through drastic changes, they'll be waiting until things settle down and see how the land lies.

Rez 4,961
What if nothing actually happens and generally everything reminds the same? We still have immigration, we still have bad policies and so on. What have we left for? Watched news night this evening with that dude with one eye looking at you and one eye looking for you. It's a question he put fowward to a panel. What if it all remains the same, so we have none of the benefits of being out of the EU, plus the same old problems... Nicepix 5,650
Well, this discussion has rapidly descended into hair-tugging and name-calling. My work here is done. Here's a last, sensible word on the subject, extracted from this original post: https://frpip.wordpress.com/2016/06/24/dear-brexiteer-what-we-need-you-to-do-now/ Dear Brexiteer. What we need you to do now. So well done, first of all. You listened to the arguments, the same ones I listened to. You heard all the same information I did, you listened to the same debates that I did, but you voted to leave. There will be a General election in 2020, if not before, and by then, you will know whether their promises are good or not. So make it clear to them that you are watching to see if they were telling the truth or not. If you voted leave because of all the money which will now go to the NHS, make sure it does. If it doesn’t, vote them out, because they lied to you. If you voted leave because of all the immigration, and it turns out that the deals that they do mean immigration will not go down, then vote them out, because they lied to you. If you voted leave because of all the Brussels bureaucracy, and it turns our companies still have to conform with all Brussels bureaucracy in order to be part of a trade agreement, then vote them out, because they lied to you. If you voted leave because you were reassured that the economy would be as good as or better than it is now, and it turns out that the pound has fallen, and businesses have left, and people have lost their jobs, then vote them out, because they lied to you. If you find your rights – maternity and paternity leave, breaks at work, sick pay, health and social benefits – are taken away, when we were told they would not be, then vote them out, because they lied to you. My feeling is that the issues will remain. Immigration will not go down, mainly because we don’t train people in this country, we import them, which creates an underclass of white working class and second- and third-generation immigrants who aren’t trained or educated for work. With fewer workers rights, that’s only going to increase, rather than diminish. So please, if you find that they lied to you, vote them out. And vote for the people who will tell you uncomfortable, complicated truths, rather than easy, simple lies. Your own posts are hardly adult and reasoned are they? Congratulations, you have now forced Cameron to resign. That means you will shortly have a new Prime Minister, which will be either George Osborne, who spends his days in a coffin, dreaming of ways to extract more blood from the British people, or Boris Johnson, who spends his days being a complete twât. I shall be waving fondly from the shores of Brittany as the British Isles sink slowly beneath the waves under the weight of the falling pound and Nigel Farage's ego. You've made your bed, and peed in it, so now lie in it. France is teetering on financial collapse. Their unions are dictating to the government in the same way that UK ones were in the 1970's. Only last month the country was crippled by strike action and the reasons for the strikes hasn't yet been resolved. Also last month the ECB had to bail out several of France's major banks by buying off their debts using freshly printed Euros. As for democratically elected leaders; Sarkozy and Hollande have hardly covered themselves in glory. No need to be a scaremonger. The FTSE has already bombed, and the pound is currently circling the toilet bowl. Wake up and smell the coffee. But the pound isn't circling the toilet bowl, and the FSTE didn't bomb. Both recovered and are holding up nicely. The fascists across Europe are all slithering out of the woodwork, crowing at the New Dawn and demanding referenda... what exactly does that tell you about what you just voted for? Well, Democracy comes to mind. Oh what, the "real" world of strict gun legislation? Nah, I'm too busy reaping the benefits of living in France, with me handguns and me 16 fpe springers... And what exactly can you shoot with your 16 fpe springer? The only thing other than targets you can legally shoot with an air gun are rats. As for your hand guns; you've had to join a club and register with the Prefecture in order to be able to buy those guns and ammo'. So in effect you are licensed. Just like in the UK. Now you toddle off and make another snuff video about 'hunting' an animal that is so short sighted and thick that you could just as effectively club to death with the stock of your 16 fpe springer.

BGD 6,436
Genuine question........could this actually increase immigration from outside the EU in the future? Being able to open up immigration to the rest of the world without increasing net migration has been something the Leave campaign presented as a positive of Brexit from the start so I'd say that's pretty much a definite.
