Would be one to maybe think about if knew a bit more about how they work an what there attitude ect like. The saluki/bull/grey I heard about do the job as good all rounders I've always wanted to no what the saluki/bull would be like but as said would someone be mad enough to breed a good coursing bitch to a bull good topic hopefully someone can enlighten us

I'm not saying that a dog over a bull bitch would be bad either way around I would like to see the outcome. which ever way around u still got the chance of getting a heavy pup. Would be something maybe take a few matings To slim them out? Never seen one cross that way no doubt u could get a racey dog from either just the chance u have to take I guess. I don't no f**k all lol just like the sound of a saluki/bull

The cross isn't the end goal, it's just one step... but that's all beside the point, I'm only looking for photos to get an idea what to expect, the variation among littermates, etc.

I've noticed when a Saluki is one of the parents they tend to be lighter than if it was greyhound ,but ,if like you say it's not your end goal,and you can keep a couple or get them homes with friends to pick the best ,it may well be a worthwhile mating ,

Just get the best parents available to you .

I bred some bull terrier to saluki years ago by a accidental mating the pups came in all shapes and sizes I had a lemon and white dog came out ended up like a whippet greyhound but with a slightly larger head killed all quary had plenty of speed and stamina but I never tried him on Fen land he was 23 to the shoulder I also kept the sister to him what came out looking like a collie with feathering every where it was 20 inch to the shoulder and as fast as lightning and more game than her brother a proper mug catcher as no one would of dreamed of what it was i only used them for lamping but very good tools the bitch was quicker over hundred yards after that the dog would over take her

two dogs from a litter in cumbria have landed in pet homes near to me. very tidy looking dogs to be fair . racey sorts.
